Samayal Tube: South Indian Food in Kuala Lumpur : Understand Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur & Putrajaya

Samayal Tube: South Indian Food in Kuala Lumpur :

7.Aug.2018 - 23
I spent about six weeks living in Kuala Lumpur.

I moved around from Bangsar near Sentral to Gombak area in the north. Then to Taman Connaught near Cheras in the south.

I visited all of the major attractions and several minor ones. I did several hikes and waterfalls as well.

I made a few trips to Putrajaya, which as KL, is a federal territory of Malaysia. I thoroughly explored Selangor which is the state surrounding both cities.

I also made excursions to the hill stations in Pahang & Perak. As well as explored the beach and inland areas of Negeri Sembilan.

KL is a convenient city for making visa runs. So I'm sure I'll be back periodically. Unlike other parts of South East Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, etc.) it has no summer rainy season. Malaysia is between 2-7 degrees latitude. So as with Singapore there is little variance in weather besides some winter rain.

Besides being bitten by a dog I found KL to be safe. The Malay people tend to be more conservative Muslims than Indonesians but are friendly and welcoming. The majority are fluent in English. The same goes for the ethnically Chinese and Indian populations.
